Hey everyone!
We are overwhelmed with gratitude by your show of support in the last 24 hours to support Johto Legends and our dream of creating an orchestral album of music from Gold and Silver. We have now reached our $40K stretch goal to hire brass players to perform on Johto Legends, filling out our orchestral roster and adding more impact to our arrangements!
What's next?
We still have a few hours left in the campaign, and at the rate we're going, we could reach another milestone: $45K, at which point we'll include a guest performance for a symphonic rock track! We are good friends with a number of talented YouTube guitarists and musicians who have the chops to perform some sweet riffs on a battle track or two.

A Challenge: $40K Stretch Goal for Epic Brass

Pokémon Trainers,
You may think you’ve made it to the top now that Johto Legends is 100% funded.
What if I told you there’s one more challenge left?
Help us reach $40,000 at the end of 3 days, and we’ll record even more musicians than planned. But I’m not just talking about more strings, or woodwinds… No.
We'll break out the brass.
Imagine a soulful French horn solo performed on the regal Route 26 theme.
Or imagine the final Champion Battle theme from Gold and Silver, the way it was always meant to sound: relentlessly epic.
Blaring horns. Powerful trombones. Trumpets heralding your doom as a Dragonite unleashes a Hyper Beam on your team--
...Okay, I’m getting a little carried away. But wouldn’t it be awesome to hear more live brass on the album?? Hitting our ultimate stretch goal of $40,000 will guarantee not just live trumpet for the album, but horns and trombones as well. Considering how intense some of Pokemon’s battle themes get, having extra firepower in the brass section for these arrangements would ensure they’re done proper justice.
I know the task seems daunting: raise $8,300 in 3 days. There’s not much time left. But if we pull this off, Johto Legends will be truly complete.
And you’ll all feel like Champions for making it happen.
