Backer surveys + upgrade your tier for a limited time!

Dear esteemed backers,

You should be receiving a backer survey in your email sometime today for all Johto Legends Kickstarter rewards! Hurray! Please take a moment to enter all the necessary info (shipping info, name for dedication, etc.) so we can deliver your goodies to you in a timely manner.

Note: While taking your survey, you'll get a chance to up your original pledge level to nab higher-tier rewards like stickers, CDs, and backer-exclusive vinyl -- but for this month only. All rewards will also be available to the public via our Johto Legends pre-order shop, now open until the end of October, so share with your friends! Let them know they can still get awesome swag even if they missed our initial campaign :D

More exciting news: today we're unveiling the stunning Johto Legends album art by Double Team! designer Franz Anthony! We took into deep consideration the theme of 'legends' across the whole album, as well as visual influences from the original Pokémon Gold and Silver to arrive at the images presented below. (You can view them in greater detail on our online shop)

Soloist Showcase: The Musicians of Johto Legends

Hi all! Braxton and Sebastian here with another exciting update for all you Johto trainers. We've been assembling recordings from our musicians over the past few weeks, and the result of their hard work is nothing short of AWESOME.

Here's a sample of some of the fantastic performances breathing new life into these old classics, from the bouncy woodwinds of Route 29, to the dark and broody cello of....well, Dark Cave.

There's nothing more magical than replacing clunky, uninspired orchestral samples with live recordings from our players, who spent extra time ensuring they captured their best takes for the album. It's really elevated the arrangements, and added cohesion across a variety of tracks that we're looking forward to sharing with you when the time comes.

At present, we're finishing edits on all the tracks and entering the mixing phase, where we aim to expand the sound of Johto Legends and give each performance room in the mix to breathe, making for an overall more pleasurable, crisper, and clearer listening experience for everyone.

All of this--the means to hire live players and professional audio engineers--was possible thanks to your support. Seriously.

Hi everyone! Super exciting update:

We just got confirmation that FamilyJules (Jules Conroy) will tentatively be joining Johto Legends as a guest arranger and performer, and will produce an epic symphonic rock cover of one of your favorite tracks!

We have two hours remaining to reach this goal, so please continue to spread the word and pledge support for Johto Legends!
